Mediterranean Interior Design
in Jupiter, Palm Beach

Mediterranean Revival architecture defines the character of Jupiter, Florida in Palm Beach County.

Mediterranean interior design in Jupiter, Palm Beach is shaped by the region’s architectural lineage and its connection to coastal light, air, and landscape. Rooted in Mediterranean Revival principles, these interiors layer stone, wood, wrought iron, and hand-finished surfaces to create depth and authenticity. Soft neutrals, warm earth tones, and curated architectural details establish a sense of permanence, while open, airy layouts keep the spaces aligned with Florida living—resulting in interiors that are both timeless and highly livable.

Client Collaboration and Integrated Design-Build Approach

My client and I have cultivated a long-standing working relationship rooted in a shared understanding of interior design and architecture. Our collaboration began with her residence at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, where I worked alongside her and the architect through a coordinated design-build process, ensuring continuity between the Bahamian-style architectural structure and the tropical interior detailing.

Building on that successful collaboration, she later acquired a custom residence in Jupiter, Palm Beach presenting an opportunity to reinterpret our design approach through the lens of Mediterranean architecture and interior design. While the architectural language shifted from Caribbean to Mediterranean Revival, our process remained consistent with a fully integrated design-build methodology that aligns architectural integrity with interior composition. The result is a cohesive environment defined by a carved stone fireplace, coffered ceilings, and structural stone columns, complemented by rustic wood doors and traditional furnishings. While her distinctive use of red and green fabrics introduces depth and individuality these elements work together with a warm, layered palette to reinforce the home’s architectural framework while expressing the client’s refined and highly personalized aesthetic.

The integration of a decorative metal range hood, detailed millwork, and built-in desk area reflects a traditional approach to kitchen design.
