Kitchen Remodel “Before”

During this home’s “Flip to Sell,” the owner did a kitchen remodel consisting of a cabinet laminate resurface facelift.

Enthusiastic about hosting guests, my clients envisioned expanding the kitchen by merging it with the laundry room, ultimately crafting a more spacious and elegant modern kitchen tailored to their preferences.

My client proposed excluding upper cabinets on the window wall, creating a striking architectural statement.

Utilizing the extra space we acquired, we integrated a row of pantries, a built-in refrigerator, and a wine bar.

The kitchen design includes a matching desk that can effortlessly transform into a buffet table or serve as an additional workspace.

We also incorporated a designated area for their cherished Wheaten Terrier, Puck.

Ergonomic Kitchen Design

We defied the traditional guideline of placing the dishwasher next to the sink by flanking it with coordinated pull-out bins for trash and recycling, distinguished by their large vertical black handles. This not only deviated from the norm but also introduced an extra architectural element.

In any well-designed chef's kitchen focusing on ergonomics, pull-out spice racks are a necessity.

In the dining area, you'll find a window adorned with a Roman shade and a coordinated valance, both expertly incorporated into the custom crown molding.

Designed and manufactured in our custom cabinetry workroom, this wall unit embodies a modern, streamlined aesthetic.
