Luxurious Eclectic Mediterranean Decor
Curating Global Treasures into Refined Interiors
Eclectic interiors often feature white walls, mismatched furniture, and flea-market finds, creating a "Shabby Chic" charm. However, I sought something more curated for my well-traveled client, who had treasures worldwide: Luxurious Eclectic Mediterranean Decor.
I began by designing Trompe l’oeil paneling to accommodate the client's collection of artwork, mirrors, corbels, plates, and found objects. This created a backdrop that didn’t overwhelm the space but showcased each item elegantly.
Grounding the design with touches of black was vital. The four black and gold picture frames, flanking a black and gold mirror, create architectural columns that give the room added height. Everything is balanced around the centerpiece, a Louis XVI-style desk surrounded by two traditional chairs and lamps featuring a parrot motif.
This thoughtful use of black ties everything together, transforming eclecticism into a refined, sophisticated space that evokes South Florida’s Mediterranean heritage.

Our Luxury Eclectic Style
is all about creating a look of
“Controlled Chaos”
Luxurious Eclecticism with a Mediterranean Style
Here, we have framed art, a striking African headpiece, and hand-painted dishes around a corbel under a cut-crystal chandelier that sparkles above a Persian rug. The painted coral doors with inset framed mirrors and cobalt blue molding bring boldness to the scene, while the crystal doorknobs, adorned with hanging tassels, add a touch of whimsy and opulence.
These contrasts of art, cultural artifacts, and intricate craftsmanship don't compete but complement each other, weaving together a narrative of luxurious eclecticism.
Luxury Mediterranean Kitchen Remodel
Inspired by MacKenzie Childs
When remodeling the kitchen, I drew inspiration from the whimsical world of artist and furniture designer MacKenzie-Childs (Link), whom I first discovered while residing at Ocean Reef Club. Her signature hand-painted tiles in a mix of eclectic colors and patterns became the foundation of my design.
This playful combination of color and pattern adds energy to the space, making it a true reflection of Luxury Eclectic style.
Luxury Eclectic Mediterranean Dining Room
This room embodies Luxury Eclecticism at its finest.
Imagine Pecky Cypress beams, reminiscent of the Mediterranean seaside, gracing a diamond-painted ceiling. Below, a custom rug anchors a wrought iron table with British Colonial Captain’s chairs, creating a perfect balance between classic and contemporary.
Accessories range from porcelain vases perched on gold-leaf Venetian corbels to a Moroccan lamp that adds a touch of global charm. The acanthus leaf and crystal chandelier hangs majestically over a large urn filled with Marie Osmond's iconic "Paper Roses” (Link)."
This space has it all, blending diverse elements into a cohesive, luxurious haven.
